Translation and localization company AD VERBUM was established in 2002 by the graduates of the University of Latvia (UL) Faculty of Theology: "We are grateful to our faculty for the ability to look at life much more extensively, daringly and see it more colourfully." The scholarship is intended to support talented students of pre-school education and to promote the prestige of this profession.


The scholarship is intended for the students of the UL Faculty of Education, Psychology and Art professional bachelor’s study programme "Pre-School Teacher". Applicants must be willing to pursue their careers in pre-school teaching.

Number of scholarships: 1.

Scholarship amount: EUR 3 000 per academic year.

Scholarship Commission: Patrons Marika Vidiņa (Chairman of the Scholarship commission) and Zelma Diāna Vidiņa, Dean of the UL Faculty of Education, Psychology and Art Prof. Linda Daniela, Executive Director of the UL Foundation Laila Kundziņa.


Within a single academic year, the applicant may receive only one scholarship financed by the patrons of the University of Latvia Foundation.
