Support

In 2004, Sorainen supported the activities of the University of Latvia Faculty of Law with a donation of EUR 1 640, as well as contributed to further projects.

In December 2009, Sorainen provided EUR 430 support to the project "Participation of the UL FL student team in "Telders International Moot Court Competition"".

In the 2011/2012 academic year, Scholarship of Sorainen Law Firm was established and awarded to Emīls Paupe (EUR 2 560).

In the 2012/2013 academic year, the scholarship was awarded to Krišjānis Bušs.

In 2013, Sorainen sponsored the ELSA Latvia 5th Moot Court Competition with EUR 430 and Professor Kārlis Dišlers Moot Court Competition with EUR 430, as well as continued to support the UL Faculty of Law students with Sorainen Scholarship, which in the 2013/2014 academic year was awarded to Andrejs Jambuševs (EUR 2 850).

In 2014, Sorainen supported the largest moot court on the Latvian scale – the VI Civil Rights Moot Court with the donation of EUR 400, as well as the ELSA Moot Court Competition in Administrative Law with EUR 300.

In the 2014/2015 academic year, Scholarship of Sorainen Law Firm was awarded to Anrijs Šimkus, a student of the UL Faculty of Law (EUR 3 000).

In the 2016/2017 academic year, the scholarship was awarded to the UL Faculty of Law student Ilze Ambrasa (EUR 3 000).

In 2015, Sorainen donated EUR 300 to the participation of the UL Faculty of Law student team in Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, Budapest.

In the 2017/2018 academic year, Scholarship of Sorainen Law Firm was awarded to the UL Faculty of Law student Inita Čīma (EUR 3 000).

In the 2019/2020 academic year, the scholarship was awarded to the UL Faculty of Law student Jānis Guobis (EUR 3 000).
