AS Sentor Farm Pharmacy established a scholarship for pharmacy studies in order to support talented Pharmacy programme students of UL Faculty of Medicine who wish to major in pharmacy and are interested in preparation of medications.
Granting of the scholarships started in the 2005/2006 academic year with the first two recipients of scholarships for social and study needs in the amount of EUR 100 per month. In the 2006/2007 academic year, the scholarship was granted to one student, and in 2007/2008 – to two students.
In the 2008/2009 academic year, the tradition of support was taken over by Mēness Aptieka granting 3 scholarships to pharmacy students in the amount of EUR 2 560.
In the Christmas of 2009, Mēness aptieka prepared presents for UL Seniors’ Society – vitamin supplements in the amount of EUR 1 450 which were accepted with gratitude.
In the 2010/2011 academic year, the tradition of Pharmacy Scholarships was continued by granting support to two students: Nelda Lencberga and Evija Sidorova, each receiving a Pharmacy Scholarship in the amount of EUR 1 280 per year.
In the 2013/2014 academic year, the Excellence Scholarships (EUR 1 000 each) were granted to three students: Inga Kozlovska, Sanita Magone, Velta Korkliša.
In the 2015/2016 academic year, Mēness Aptieka granted the total amount of EUR 46 200 for Mēness Aptieka’s Internship Scholarships and Mēness Aptieka’s Study Scholarships to be distributed to the Master’s Programme "Pharmacy" first and second-year students.
In the 2017/2018 academic year, Mēness Aptieka’s Internship Scholarship was granted in the amount of EUR 3 280.
