Anita and Ivars Gaide

In May 2005, Dean emer. Ivars Gaide and Rev. Dr. Anita Gaide from Canada arranged a course of lectures at the UL Faculty of Theology, enabling students gain an insight into the Western world outlook and engage in international processes. The lectures were delivered by Prof. Taivāns from the University of Toronto.

Support

In 2011, the patrons supported the scholarship "Ceļamaize" (“Bread for the journey”) by donating EUR 603.

They donated privately toward restoration of the organ at the UL Big Hall in 2013 and 2014 (in memory of Ilmārs Zilāns).
