Accenture is an international company with branches in 49 countries worldwide. The branch of Accenture in Latvia was established in 2002, and its employees participate in the international projects in Scandinavian and European countries.

Accenture employs a wide range of IT professionals – accomplished software engineers and employees who have just started to build up their experience. "We are ready to collaborate with people who are ready to learn, work creatively and shape their careers," says Maksims Jegorovs, the director of the company, a graduate of the University of Latvia.


Support

Accenture Latvia is the University of Latvia supporter since 2008. The first donation was extended to the events "Student paradise 2008" and "Days of Physics and Maths 2009".

In 2010, Accenture Latvia supported education development projects at the UL Faculty of Computing – "Pre-Aristotle Festival" held on 4 September and dedicated to the first-year students, donating EUR 2 850, and "Programmer's Day 2010" held on 10 December, donating EUR 3 560.

In 2011, Accenture Latvia contributed to the project "Pre-Aristotle 2011" at the UL Faculty of Computing with EUR 6 400.

In 2012, the funding was granted for the competition of bachelor's and master's theses in Computer Science (EUR 3 560), University of Latvia annual event “Pre-Aristotle 2012” (EUR 6 400) and the event organised by the UL Faculty of Computing – "Programmers’ Day 2012" (EUR 850).

In 2013, Accenture Latvia provided support for the ICALP 2013 – the 40th International Colloquium on Automata, Languages and Programming, organized by the UL Faculty of Computing with a donation of EUR 1 450, as well as for the UL Faculty of Computing freshmen event "Pre-Aristotle 2013" with EUR 6 400 and "Programmers’ Day" with EUR 2 249.29.

In 2014, Accenture Latvia donated EUR 1 800 for the development of coding standards, EUR 6 402.92 for the UL Faculty of Computing project "Pre-Aristotle 2014", as well as EUR 5 100 for the award fund of the Computer Science Bachelor’s & Master's Thesis Competition, and EUR 1 400 to the annual "Programmers’ Day" – Lady Ada Lovelace Award.

In 2015, Accenture Latvia supported Latvian Higher Education Institutions’ Computer Science Bachelor’s & Master's Thesis Competition in the amount of EUR 5 500, as well as provided internship grants to students of the UL Faculty of Computing, donating EUR 195 631.55 for this purpose.

In 2016, the company continued to support the foundation by donating EUR 273 921.24 for development of the UL Faculty of Computing and IT sphere, including the donation to Latvian Higher Education Institutions’ IT Bachelor’s & Master's Thesis Competition ZIBIT 2016.

In 2017, Accenture Latvia provided internship grants to the students of the UL Faculty of Computing, donating EUR 164 989.72 for this purpose, as well as the event organised by the UL Faculty of Computing – "Programmers’ Day 2012" in the amount of EUR 1 400, contributed to the UL Faculty of Computing "Pre-Aristotle" event "Sowing" with EUR 6 400, the creation of the Faculty of Computing "DF LAB" project studio with EUR 20 000 and the Exact Sciences’ Day event with EUR 350, as well as the CCC'17 conference with EUR 10 000.

The Excellence Award 2018 was supported with a donation of EUR 2 000, Accenture/FC Programmers’ Day 2018 – with EUR 1 260, and the UL Faculty of Computing "Pre-Aristotle" event "Sowing 2018" with EUR 5 760, and the Exact Sciences’ Day – with EUR 500.

In 2019, Accenture Latvia continues to support the Excellence Award 2019 with a donation of EUR 3 000.
