In honor of the centenary of the Botanical Garden of the University of Latvia (UL), we have started a collaboration with the company VENDEN, which is one of the leading water suppliers and producers in Latvia. The company has become an informative partner of the garden, helping to collect donations for the revitalization of the ensemble of the cultural and historical linden alley of the Botanical Garden of the University of Latvia. The donation is administered by the University of Latvia Foundation.

Today, March 22, World Water Day is celebrated. The idea for this day came in 1992 at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development in Rio de Janeiro. The aim of this festival is to draw public attention to the availability and quality of water, reminding everyone of its value. In honor of Water Day, we are starting a collaboration with the company VENDEN and the University of Latvia Foundation, signing the agreement in between the bright flowering azaleas. This is a historic moment, as the signing of contracts in the house of azaleas is taking place for the first time.

In cooperation with VENDEN, visitors will be offered various surprises, which we will report over time. Thank you for your support!
