Support

In 2012, the company donated EUR 6 400 for the scholarships to be granted to the students of the UL Faculty of Chemistry in the 2012/2013 academic year, and EUR 430 in support of the 2nd International Conference in Pharmacology in Riga.

In the 2013/2014 academic year, the scholarships were granted to Diāna Džabijeva (EUR 1 450), Gunita Oša (EUR 1 450) and Mārcis Sējējs (EUR 1 450).

In 2013, AS Olainfarm donated EUR 2 845.74 for the academic conference "Interactivity of Science and Culture in Latvia and Worldwide", and for publication of the monograph dedicated to the jubilee year of Academician Jānis Stradiņš, celebrated from May 2013 to May 2014.

Olainfarm scholarships in the 2014/2015 academic year were granted to the students of the Bachelor’s programme, UL Faculty of Medicine, Zane Jūra (EUR 1 400) and Tatjana Rogaļska (EUR 1 400), as well as the students of UL Faculty of Chemistry – the student of the Bachelor’s programme Mārcis Sējējs (EUR 2 100) and the student of the Master’s programme Elīna Petrova (EUR 2 100).

In 2015, Olainfarm supported the 23rd Chemistry Olympiad of the Baltic states hosted by the UL Faculty of Chemistry. The patron in the 2015/2016 academic year continued to grant scholarships to the students of the UL Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Chemistry.

In 2016, the company supported the participation of the Latvian pupils in the 24th Chemistry Olympiad of the Baltic states, and continued to grant scholarships to the talented students of the UL Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Chemistry.

In the 2016/2017 academic year, the scholarships were granted to Vera Markovska, Matīss Pāls, Marta Raituma and Aleksandra Gžibovska.

In 2017, the company granted EUR 270 for "Mendeleyev’s Olympiad" and EUR 500 for the Science Days event.

The recipients of the scholarships in the 2018/2019 academic year: Anna Lankovska, Agnese Rudzīte, Andra Laizāne and Baiba Kaņepe. The total fund of the scholarships amounted to EUR 7 000. In 2018, the patron supported the event "The Chemists’ Days 2018" with EUR 500.
